Physical exam: It depends on the site of your pain. You need to visit your general surgeon who will do a physical exam. When you describe your pain, when was the onset? Where exactly is the pain (right upper quadrant, vague, diffuse?), do you have abdominal tenderness? Bowel and bladder symptoms? Nausea? Refer to gastroenterology if pain persists as well. Get H.Pylori and upper GI scope to take a direct look.
