Endovascular/"EVAR": Endovascular aneurysm repair (evar) is all the rage in repairing abdominal aortic aneurysms but not all patients can have evar. The limiting factor remains the anatomy of the aneurysm, particularly with how close to the kidney arteries the aneurysm begins. The newest evar technology focuses on aneurysms that are very close or involve the kidney arteries, and this is currently in clinical trials.
