See ear doctor soon!: You have had muffled hearing since dental work. If you had an injection to numb the pain when you had the dental work there is a relationship at times with a nerve hearing loss. It is also possible that you have wax in the year blocking the eardrum. You need to see an ear specialist soon to have them check the ear and do a hearing test and maybe an injection of cortisone to restore hearing.
