A member asked:

Ive been hearing a lot about cancer and ct scans causing cancer ive had 2 ct scans 2 x-rays 5 mammograms and a few dental x-rays been a lot of debate on the news lately what are my odds i tried going on x-ray.com but i cant decipher that. ?

It is not calculable: For one individual, the actual odds are not calculable, meaning the numbers you see are NOT referring to one person, but rather to a population. Patients get CT scans all over the world, every day. As long as there is a good reason for the scan, it is fine to do. If repeated scans are planned, to follow some sort of serious illness, a patient can ask his doctor what other options there are.
