Confusing question: By definition PID is not asymptomatic. Im confused by answers on previous questions; if the chlamydia caused PID, does it mean that 7 days of doxycycline would have been enough to cure PID? Why do several sources recommend 14 days of doxy in combination with other drug to cure PID?
My apologies for the earlier confusion. So the 14 days of only doxycycline 2dd should have cured PID caused by chlamydia, even though I had no other type of antibiotics in addition to the doxy?
