I got treated for vaginal + rectal chlamydia with doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 14 days. in case the infection also infected my upper genital tract, would the treatment i had likely have cured possible pid caused by chlamydia?

Yes, it should have. Most current treatment recommendation for anogenital chlamydia infection is 7-d course of doxycycline. You may opt to have a "test of cure" 4 weeks after treatment.
