A member asked:

My daughter is complaining of " itching inside her chest" she has no cough, no other symptoms, or not on any meds . what can possibly be causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Reactive airway: Occasionally allergic responses called reactive airway disease can present as such symptoms...it is before one starts wheezing. If she has had asthma, in the past I would consider this an early indicator of it. This is a very general answer based on no exam and contact with your daughter. Her interpretation of this symptom could be way off what I could be speculating. So have her seen by your peds
