Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) and Luvox: Yes, Both Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) and Luvox are in the same family of SSRI antidepressant medications. Luvox can have more nausea than Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride). GI symptoms are also side effects of other SSRI medications. See Psychiatrist for decreasing dose of SSRI if nausea continues; consider Wellbutrin or Effexor; and Therapy for stress in your life which could be relationships, parenting, work and finances; relaxation, Yoga.
