Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride): Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) is an ssri and rarely causes diarrhea. To counteract the diarrhea one can take probiotic or eat constipating foods such as rice or bananas.

Loose Stools: First off- Ziibryd should not be taken on an empty stomach. So it you aren't taking it with food - try that first. Another option that my patients have success with is adding in high dose, multi-strain controlled release probiotic. Good luck.
