It may go away: Nausea is a relatively common side effect. If you recently started the medication it may go away with time. Please discuss with your psychiatrist.

This is common: This is a common reaction to viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride). It does tend to go away over a period of about seven days. If it continues in your case then the best option may be to lower the dose slightly or if you are currently in the process of escalating the dose to slow down the dose escalation. You should talk openly to your psychiatrist about this. He or she may opt to prescribe you something temporarily for nausea until this side effect updates. Best wishes.
