Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) & seizures?: It's probably an oversimplification to say that viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) "causes" seizures. In some small percentage of the population, it can decrease seizure threshold. Although, it should be noted that most anti-depressants, albeit to widely varying degrees, decrease seizure threshold. The best thing to do is discuss your particular concerns & your risk/ benefit & side effect profile with your prescribing MD.
