Many causes of pain: Although chronic anxiety can result in a variety of physical symptoms, it is also important not to dismiss specific physical pain or simply attribute it to anxiety. Such pain and tingling sensations in the areas of the wrist and hands can be due to other medical conditions. Recommend seeing your doctor to get a more complete evaluation and treatment recommendations. Hope this is helpful.

Other causes: Anxiety could be a cause but that is not commonly seen. A more common cause of such symptoms is carpal tunnel syndrome and can be easily diagnosed and treated. Please see your primary care provider.
