2 separate issues: and should be treated separately. 1. See your GP for acid reflux. 2. See your DDS for TMJ and neck pain. TMJ symptoms can begin after a simple dental treatment and stress.

Acid Reflux: The reflux is not related to your dental visit. Sore muscles/discomfort could be from the injection or keeping your mouth open for a while. Try warm, moist compresses to relax the muscles.
