A member asked:

Had chest pain (nothing wrong with heart after tests) burping, dry cough, tight throat/jaw. all these symptoms are not chronic they happen once in a while, is it possible that i have acid reflux?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many potential causes of chest pain. GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis, peptic ulcer, aspiration, Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal diverticulum, among many others. If repetitive over a prolonged period (even if intermittent) it deserves an evaluation by a Gastroenterologist (and possible EGD)
