Thought i had an mosquito bite on my thigh as itchy but it was a large itchy bruise (no injury). it went away, but has now returned in the same spot.

Hive?: Not sure, but hives have characteristics similar to this (can have appearance of large mosquito bite, itch, come and go). Can try an otc antihistamine to see if it helps. Otherwise, may be helpful to photograph the lesion in case it "goes" before seeing a physician
