Exam advised: These may be insect bites, possibly deer tick bites in view of the lighter color in the center of the rash. Do you live in an area where Lyme disease is endemic? Spreading redness could also be due to an insect bite developing cellulitis which is a secondary bacterial infection requiring oral antibiotics. I recommend having a physician examine you for diagnosis and treatment.
