ASTHMA & COUGH: If you have not been treating your asthma during this time, symptoms could simply represent sub-optimal asthma management. You COULD try you 'rescue' medication (albuterol) prior to seeing your doctor although seeing your doctor after two weeks of persistent symptoms is not an unreasonable course of action.
