Sag> post ectop beat: I believe U R talking about Mitral Valve Prolapse? Some-times Mitral valve is larger than required to cover valve orifice. It opens to fill the LV when the LV is relaxing, but when LV contracts valve closes & pushes beyond limits of orifice into Lft Atrium. LV beat has less pressure with ectopic beat, but beat right after ectopic is stronger, so prolapse could be more obvious after an ectopic.
