Eat orange peels?: Peels in general contain more pesticides than the flesh of a fruit. Check with your governments regulations on how much you can get by eating peels. You can google this and see what you think the data shows. And then decide for your self what the risks and benefits are of eating vs not eating. Or do a pubmed search for orange peels AND pesticides.

OK but organic best!: Orange peels are a superb source of beneficial phytonutrients such as bioflavonoids, but will likely have pesticide residues unless organic. In a list of 50 common fruits and veggies apples ranked first in pesticides and oranges 31st- see http://www.ewg.org/foodnews/list.php Try washing before eating by soaking in solution of 10% vinegar/90% water for 20 min,then rinse.Choose organic if available!
