Have had hsv-1 since i was a child. i recently got std tested & they tested a sore i had near my vagina. did they test for hsv-1 rather than hsv-2?

Hsv: HSV1 and HSV2 can both cause sores below the waste but the majority are HSV2. The test should be a serum test not just one sore. A blood test for both HSV1&2.
