Folliculitis?: It may be infection or inflammation of the hair follicles in the groin area which is folliculitis. If the area is red, swollen or there is pus draining then you need to see a doctor right away for an antibiotic. For now, avoid shaving the area (if you have been), avoid tight-fitting clothing that rubs the area.

Cysts: It sounds like you are getting cysts. It is a common place for cysts to arise. Here are some tips to try and minimize them. Don't shave in that area. Was the area daily with non soap skin cleanser. Minimize friction by wearing loose underwear that does not bind and rub on the area. Keep the area cool and dry as possible.
