Be more specific: I'm glad your friend is healthy. Which genetic test did she take? Does she have an affected family member? Most ALS is sporadic. Misunderstanings are very common when it comes to genetic testing. It's best for you simply to let your friend know you are happy for her, and let her bring her questions to her genetic counsellor or physician.
