It is more likely: that you have an anxiety disorder or OCD. Please see your doc and then a mental health professional who specializes in anxiety or OCD. I'm sure this is torture for you but the proper treatment can be very helpful. Claire Weakes old book "Hope and Help for your Nerves" may provide some help along the way. Unlikely: It is highly unlikely you have ALS. This is a progressive disease of neurons that control motor functions in the body. If these concerns are disrupting your normal life activities, see a doctor to discuss. Counseling may be helpful in coping with these concerns.
