Follow your nipples: Your nipples are at the level of t6. Follow the path to your back to reach t6 on your back. Another way is to flex your chin downward. The large bump at the base of your neck is c7. Count 6 spinous processes down to t6.

Shoulder blade : If you stand straight, the bottom of your shoulder blade should be around t8- your 8th thoracic vertebrae. Find that area and count up 2 bones.
