Yes you should: With compressin fracture of t6 you should be wearing a back brace jewett brace for stable or tlso for unstable fracture.But you should be under care of an orthopedic surgeon as sometime you need kyphoplasty or vertibuloplasty as advocated by some.But even if no surgery is needed or indicated you need to be evaluated by an orthopedic md for long term management and further prevention.

Compression Fx!: These are usually mild inuries, that can cause significant pain acutely, but rarely "injure" nerves or muscles. What you need to do not lift heavy objects or lift over your shoulder, and let it heal. Pain will gradually diminish. A back brace will not help much. Compression fractures most common between T11 and l1. The location is troublesome, but you are a 22 y/o male. Take nsaids until seen, .
