Maybe.: Need a good clinician to correlate pictures ( which only demonstrate anatomy) with your symptoms.

Possibly: Disc herniations are not themselves major pain generators. It is when the are large enough to cause nerve compression or irritation that they cause pain. Most mid back pain is muscular. The focus is to treat the patient and nit the mri.
