Not really: On the contrary, if he has been exposed to the bacteria from these cats all through his life, he may well be less predisposed to develop allergic diseases. The results with dogs are even better. Do note that exposure beginning after the few months of age may make him at a higher risk to develop cat allergy. Timing is everything.
