I spiral fractured my 5th metecarpal.everything is aligned properly therefore didnt require pins and only a cast. its been 5 weeks.how long typically?

Metacarpal fracture: It depends where the fracture is . If it is close to the base then those r slow to heal ( 12-16 weeks ) if it is mid shaft should be healed in 6-8 weeks.

6-8 weeks.: Bones typically take 6-8 weeks to heal. If you were very careful and the bones didn't move for 5 weeks, you're likely in the clear, but it depends on the spacing and alignment, as well as your body's ability to heal.
