Trigeminal neuralgia: There is no relationship between impacted wisdom teeth and trigeminal neuralgia, to my knowledge. However, an impacted wisdom tooth can cause symptoms that can mimic trigeminal neuralgia, such as jaw pain radiating to the head, or nerve symptoms such as numbness. You should see an oral surgeon for a thorough evaluation.

No: Trigeminal neuralgia is a complicated condition affecting the trigeminal nerve. Although impact wisdom teeth can be located in close proximity to one branch of the trigeminal nerve, the two conditions are not directly related. Impacted wisdom teeth can however cause multiple symptoms through the head and neck region. See your local oral surgeon for an exam.
