Palpitations in neck: If your heart beat feels funny, with extra or skipped beats, or irregular rhythm, we call it palpitations. Certain kinds of palpitations are nore likely to be felt in the neck. If it lasts 60 secs or if it is associated with chest discomfort, shortness of breath, lightheadedness/fainting, then you should get checked by a doctor. If it is brief and does not cause those other symptoms don't worry.
