A member asked:

I went through co2 fractional laser for acne scarring and my doctor recommended applying suncreen when using computer. why? do i have to?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very low risk: Anytime a facial skin resurfacing procedure is done, there is potential for prolonged redness from normal healing. Sun (UV) exposure should be limited to minimize this problem and prevent sunburn. Exposure to fluorescent indoor lighting presents an extremely low risk although being in the habit of applying sunscreen full-time is not a bad idea.
