Test the urine again: you complete your course of antibiotics. If the symptoms donot go away then test the urine for culture again . you cannot do this test while you ate on the antibiotics.

UTI treatment: Many antibiotics are used to treat UTI, but none works every time. Most bacteria that cause UTI are sensitive to some antibiotics and resistant to others. Just because a particular drug worked before, or even if it is the usual drug in most patients, it does not always cure the infection. If symptoms no better in 6 days, either the UTI diagnosis is wrong or the UTI is resistant to that antibiotic.
