IBS: May be dietary, Gas-x for gas, ranitidine /prilosec for acid /reflux if you drink a lot of coffee will make you defecate and is acidic, try tea. 1 tablespoon of Maalox/ day may help- though it may promote defecation-it does relax. Get fiber 1 cup oats ,brown rice, lentils or barley a day, Drink 2-3 liter per day. Avoid sodas, alcohol caffeine. f/u/w/doc
