Constipation: Generally you should have a BM every day or at least every 3 days anything longer is a concern for impaction . Drink 2.5-3 liters water/gatorade/everyday (so as not to dilute sodium) .Hi fiber lentils. oats, brown rice, barley every day 1 cup. Try MOM 1 tablespoon 2 x a day x 4 days , if no BM in 48 hours, add Miralax (polyethylene glycol) as directed. Any other medical problems ? f/u w. doc /urgent care.today.
