Hematuria and pain: Hematuria, blood in a urine sample can have many causes. Stones, trauma, infection, and other things cause blood to appear in your urine. Red blood cell casts are a different finding that may indicate kidney damage. In a 43 year old woman with multiple symptoms and pain in different areas, an in person physical exam is best. Doc needs your med history and a careful history, exam for Dx.Good luck.
