Sharp pain in buttock, changes sides also intermittent pain in legs, feet and neck/arms. what could cause this? my dr says is virus. how can i treat?

NO enough history: I can only reference what you have told us. If this is viral , it should pass soon. You might want to consider the use of NSAID such as ibuprofen or naproxen. Do not take these with aspirin or any other type of pain reliever. The other thing is do not take if you have ulcers. Follow the stated directions on the bottle.

If viral, then: symptoms should subside with rest and time. If persisient , then possibilities such as rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, other connective tissue disease or neurologic problems are possible.
