My mom has allergic cough since many weeks.cough occurs oftenly and duration of cough is short. no medication is successful till now. is this alarming condition?mom feels dryness of mouth,due to which cough starts,her voice changes ofently.

See doctor: There are many causes for coughing but the voice change does suggest that reflux may be the cause. However it is best for her to consult her doctor to get checked out for other potential causes for a chronic cough (asthma, TB etc).
