See an ENT: With such limited information it is impossible to give you an answer on a forum such as this. However, an unexplained voice change can be a sign of problems with your vocal chords and/or throat. Add in the pain and that increases the concern. You should see your doctor or an ear/nose/throat (ENT) specialist asap. It may be no big deal, but if it is a big deal waiting will only make it worse. Go!

Try cough drops: Your throat is either inflamed or you are getting a bacterial culture settling in. If cough drops don't help then you need something that will coat your throat.

Get examined: I believe anytime there is a voice change or trouble swallowing you should get examined by an ENT dr. It found be inflamation infection, or something more serious. I don't believe just treating the symptoms is in your best intrest!
