Depends on what you: Think about it. "i hear my mother's voice in my head" indicates you know it's really not your mother's voice" are there reasons why your mom's voice comes up in your head. Is your relationship with your mother difficult? If your mother isn't alive it becomes an issue of how that relationship ended. Was it good or abusive? Were there unsolved problems? Solve it, don't ignore it.
