Visit your doctor: Please show it to your doctor, you may need stitches. Signs of infection are heat,redness, pain, and swelling. If you cut yourself with something dirty, you may need a tetanus shot. Using alcohol on wounds is a bad idea, it kills the cells trying to crawl in and heal your cut. Neosporin is a great idea, and kelocote is great for small scars that form. If you see redness expanding, go to the ER.
