OnlyTheShadowKnows: If two ENTs can't figure it out (assuming they graduated from a medical school somewhere on Earth & have no felonies on their records),it would be hard to imagine someone on this site coming-up with an answer. But, depending on the type of infection you had,there may be some residual minor sensory nerve changes in that area.As long as you can chew,swallow & breathe without much discomfort, relax.
