Can hard workout reduce chances to get pregnant? i can't seem to get pregnant, but there's nothing wrong with me nor my husband. but i exercise a lot and i compete in ironman and ultra-marathon. can that be the reason why i don't get pregnant?

Yes...: Female athletes are more likely to have ovulation and menstruation disorders that effect conception (esp runners, gymnasts, ballet dancers). With intense training schedules and limits on caloric intake, women can be vulnerable to female athlete triad: disordered eating, amenorrhea and osteoporosis. Periods can stop when your body no longer makes estrogen to produce eggs (hypothalamic amenorrhea).

Athletes: I don't know how hard is your work out but athletes are known to have amenorrhea that makes them difficult to conceive.
