I was told 3 days ago i have a chest infection but instead of taking antibiotics i wanted to see if it would clear on its own, for the last 3 days my morning mucas is green but turns clear as the day goes on, is this normal ? could i be getting over it ?

Probably OK, but...: I agree you may not need an antibiotic and likely getting better on your own. Antibiotics are usually given for bronchitis (most "chest infections"), but usually symptoms would clear up on their own, without treatment. Many are viral and not bacterial infections; and even the bacterial ones often clear rapidly without treatment. But there are exceptions. To be safe, discuss w/ your doctor.
