Unlikely: You need to be re-examined and re-tested. It would be helpful to know more history and symptomatology. What you have provided makes it very difficult to even make a presumptive diagnosis.

Possibly...: Musculoskeletal pain from coughing may be due to muscle strain, cartilage inflammation or even a rib fracture. Regardless of the precise cause, you may still have pain from these conditions even after the cough resolves. You should be gradually feeling better once the cough completely resolves. If the pain is worsening after the cough is gone, see your doctor.
