Better In The Gravy: If you are overweight it can happen. With extra fat in those areas it tends to get lumpy. I'm not sure why. Probably because that area wasn't designed to store fat. Might help, though, if you were a soccer player! If you have a normal weight then it would be due to something very unusual, unless you had some form of skin ailment. Also, sometimes people with a thyroid problem can get thick shins.
