Hmmm...: If a patient heard "there is no such thing as normal" for lymphocyte counts, that usually means the patient has been abnormally worried about a number that is normal for him, and has been repeatedly asking his doctor about that number. In that case, the doctor will truthfully say, "there's no such thing as normal". In a different situation there really is "abnormal", such as a count of 0 or 25000.
