Bad cold and asthma: You mentioned fever , but no mention of other symptoms as cough, wheeze, shortness of breath, congestion, etc, that usually accompany colds. If you don't have any of those symptoms or just mild form, just continue taking your controller medicines, I suggest acetaminophen for fever instead of Advil (ibuprofen). In case of acute flare of asthma symptoms use short acting albuterol not advair and call ur doctor
