Yes and no: the alcohol level in plasma could be 0 by then , that is if you are healthy, a good metabolizer and drink plenty of water. however there are other biomarkers that would reveal a recent acute intoxication , liver enzimes like SGOT, that would be high.

Depends: on what test they are running. And if you were able to consume that much alcohol in one day, a positive test is the LEAST of your problems. Being able to drink that much means you are extremely tolerant, which implies either chronic or binge excessive use. If they test for ethyl glucuronide/sulfide (ETG or ETS) it may well be positive even 3 days after the alcohol use. Please get help.
