My sister took one percocet about 8 hours ago. she is now drinking vodka and orange juice. is it safe for her to drink alcohol after taking percocet?

It is never a good combination. The narcotic and the alcohol will have an additive effect and so she will be drunk quicker. So best to stop the drinking.

Both alcohol and percocet (oxycodone & acetaminophen) are central nervous system depressants and effects of the 2 include not only drowsiness but.decreased judgement and.motor skills. Since it may take up to 20 hours for the oxycodone to leave her system,to be safe driving,etc she should have abstained from alcohol for a full day.
