Cough too?: I'm not sure that I understand the problem. That "big air pocket" makes me think you might be coughing a lot of phlegm. Are you short of breath? You need a clinician to hear the complete story & listen to your lungs, perhaps ordering some imaging as well. If this is due to illness, there are numerous infections (simple bronchitis to TB) & other lung conditions to consider. Hope that helps.
